A consultation between MHRA and the Department of Health (DH) has taken place with the MHRA at Tewka Valley Pharmacy, London, on Thursday, 25 February 2020. The consultation was informed that there were concerns about the risk of taking too many Viagra 50mg tablets.

Viagra (sildenafil) pills (Sildenafil citrate) were developed to treat erectile dysfunction (ED) in men. However, the availability of these products was restricted by the Food and Drug Administration in the United States due to the absence of FDA-approved generic drugs. In this study, the FDA's list of approved generic drugs to treat ED was updated.
Study design
This study was a double-blind, placebo-controlled, multicenter, parallel-group, parallel-group, parallel-group, two-site, randomized, open-labeled, cross-over, fixed-dose, single-arm, flexible-dose, flexible-dose, and fixed-dose fixed-dose fixed-dose fixed-dose fixed-dose fixed-dose- randomization study for the treatment of ED. Inclusion criteria for the study were patients with ED of at least 6 months and having an erection lasting at least 4 hours with or without sexual stimulation (priapism) of at least 6 months. Trial population
The study population was primarily comprised of adult men over the age of 18 years with ED. They were also excluded from the study if they had any of the following conditions: a current or previous diagnosis of erectile dysfunction (ED), and/or had taken any form of nitrate medication before the study period. In addition, the subjects were excluded if they had had an organic disease, liver disease, or kidney disease, had a history of drug-induced pulmonary hypertension, or had an history of or have had blood cell disorders or other blood diseases. The study population was also excluded if they were taking any drug-containing medications, had a previous history of cardiac disease, or had an active disease. This study did not exclude patients with any medical or surgical history or medical conditions that could affect ED.
All participants were asked to be enrolled at randomization and informed about the study. The researchers were not blinded to treatment allocation and any part of the study was performed by the study investigator. Informed consent was obtained from all participants before enrollment and informed consent was obtained from all study patients. Informed consent was not required for the study because all participants had informed consent to participate in the study. The study was approved by the institutional review board of the Faculty of Pharmacy at the Faculty of Pharmacy of Vadodara University (IRB No. 022/10.00006-0089-8).
Trial design
In the present study, we used a fixed-dose, fixed-dose, fixed-dose-fixed-dose, and fixed-dose-fixed-dose-fixed-dose-fixed-dose design to treat ED. We chose this design because it was the first study to evaluate the effect of sildenafil (Viagra) on ED in men who had erectile dysfunction and to determine the efficacy of the ED drugs. It is a gel called Eroxon, and has been clinically proven to work for people with mild to severe erectile dysfunction.
Eroxon is made by Futura Medical, a pharmaceutical company based in the UK.
Eroxon is applied to the head of the penis, where the gel evaporates, with this evaporation stimulates vascular and neural nerve endings by rapidly cooling and warming the area. This triggers the release of nitric oxide, which relaxes blood vessels, therefore increasing blood flow to the penis and causing an erection.
The release of nitric oxide is also how other erectile dysfunction (ED) treatments such as Viagra work, but they have the disadvantage of relaxing blood vessels in the entire body, since they are taken orally and not applied directly. This can lead to side effects such as nausea, dizziness and headaches.
